The Sandpoint Men’s Group is presenting an important film about how our culture teaches young boys to be men…and how we fail them. Key questions addressed by the film include:
- How does mass media shape the youth in our culture?
- What messages are we as a culture delivering to young boys? And how does this impact them?
- How do boys learn to be adults?
- What does it mean to “Be A Man”?

A film by The Representation Project, this is a must see for parents, teenagers, educators, coaches and community leaders. The Representation Project’s mission is to challenge gender stereo-types. Their earlier film Miss Representation has won awards for challenging “girl” stereo-types. The Mask You Live In addresses the boy to man stereo-types in which our young boys are growing up.
